Class Description
Blender Intermediate classes are back! This series is based on live field trips with the FX Dojo creative team. Lessons cover a wide variety of 3D animation techniques using Blender Version 2.9. After a presentation about our tour of San Diego's famous Cactus Garden in Balboa Park, students will be guided through designing their own cacti based on observations, biology, and imagination.
Make a connection between real world experience and digital design
Lessons derived from hiking outside help students reflect on their experiences. Our brainstorming exercises cultivate self-expression through modern tools and digital art.
Minimal setup and intuitive UX
FX Dojo Online classes require less than 5 minutes of preparation. Once online, the instructor will give clear instructions on how to navigate through Discord, the popular chatroom app used by gamers worldwide. To participate, students will need:
- Computer (PC or Mac)
- Reliable Internet connection
- Blender version 2.8 (free download)
- Discord (free download)
- A Discord account (free)
