Learn Architectural Visualization in San Diego! This 5 class series delves into the intricacies of procedural texturing. Students will be using the Eevee render engine, only available with Blender Version 2.8 Beta.
Procedural Texturing allows for maximum flexibility
The process of high definition texturing is commonly done with photography and importing custom images. However, using a procedural method allows the artist to synthesize shapes and features with mathematical formulas. With the proper network of nodes, one simply adjusts a variety of parameters to make changes, rather than import a replacement.
Design Concept Homes
The last half hour of every class will be reserved for free design. Students are encouraged to create fantasy living spaces while practicing a wide range of Blender tools. Although the focus of this class is on texturing, it is crucial to stay sharp in all areas of 3D visualization.
Rock, paper, scissors
Learn to create procedural networks for materials commonly used in architecture. This includes rock, glass, metal, and wood. Once artists master several basic networks, then all it takes is a little mixing and matching to create original textures... and that's why they call it Blender (=
Get creative with design!
Once students get comfortable with particular workflows, then there is a methodical way to express creativity. This is a process we try to nurture with digital tools. Join this class and visualize your imagination!
